PSB's Floating Rotor PR-04 is designed especially for the high torque output situation of the E-MTBs.
When brake pads are forced against the rotor while braking, through the floating structure between the inner and outer parts of the disc, a slight lateral deviation of the outer disc is allowed, in order to create optimal contact between the disc and the brake pads. Which brings out the maximum caliper force and the best brake performance.
Not only makes the brake components longer lasting, but also reduces the noises caused by resonance between the disc and the frame during braking.
The material of the outer disc is a special stainless steel specially made for brakes, the hardness is also improved through heat treatment. Not only the stability is increased, the resistant agianst wearing and the durability of the disc are improved as well.
PR-04 uses aluminum alloy as the center of the disc, which achieves excellent rigidity and outstanding heat dissipation.
