PSB has earned recognition by Red Dot Design Award 2022

The Red Dot Design Award was founded in 1955 by the German Design Zentrum NRW Design Association, which is equally famous as the iF Design Award, attracting 18,000 entries from over 60 countries every year, and has always been one of the trial balloon of global industrial design.

Innovation comes from insight into new demands of life

Mobility is one of the important topics of innovation. Facing the new cycling culture, PSB has its own perspective on components.

Discovering the needs in the details of the user's life, through unlimited imagination and efficient execution abilities, proposing solutions that exceed consumers' expectations, this has always been the goal pursued by PSB.

Tackling the menacing unpredictability of riding with a long-term solution

PSB has discovered that due to the improvement of battery technology, E-Bikes with power assistance have begun to rise, but it is difficult for beginners to distinguish whether the spare parts purchased by themselves are sufficient for electric vehicles, especially the braking system components.

Therefore, PSB began the development of disc floating technology in 2020. The purpose is to improve the strength of parts without changing any specifications of the braking system, to meet the market demand of general bicycles and electric bicycles during the transition and coexistence period.

We propose 3D Floating technology in braking system. The core of this technology is the floating cuts on the rotor, so the probability of permanent rotor deformation is reduced through material properties. Comparing to conventional rotors, a 3D Floating rotor possesses a better strength, which stabilizes the service life of the braking system.

How does 3D Floating technology stabilize the braking system life ?
